Ottoni Stainless Steel Kettle, Bodum

Designed by Carsten Jørgensen for Bodum in 1986, the Ottoni kettle combines a polished 18/10 stainless steel body with a bent mahogany handle and a translucent blue acrylic finial. The interplay of geometric forms, industrial detailing, and saturated accents places this Italian design at the intersection of Memphis and postmodern design history.
