Mica Candleholders, The TwentyFour Six x Sophie Dries

A pair of handblown glass candleholders made in Belgium in collaboration with Paris based designer and architect Sophie Dries, who incorporated flecks of mica mineral directly into the glass during production. The organic, drop shaped forms are determined by the randomness of the blowing process itself, meaning no two pieces are identical. Rooted in Sophie Dries's lifelong fascination with minerals, they read as much as small sculptural objects as functional tableware pieces.
